Welcome to Maya Call Taxi. By booking a ride, using our website, or contacting us for our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. About Us
Maya Call Taxi is a taxi and cab service operating in and around Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. We are a unit of Maya Groups, headquartered at:

2. Booking & Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive an explicit confirmation from Maya Call Taxi via phone call, SMS, or WhatsApp message.
- Bookings can be made by phone at 0416 2224455, via WhatsApp at 97106 01234, or through our website.
- Maya Call Taxi reserves the right to accept or decline any booking at its sole discretion without providing a reason.
- It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure that all trip details provided at the time of booking — including pick-up location, destination, date, time, and contact number — are accurate.
- Any changes to a confirmed booking must be communicated to us as early as possible and are subject to availability.
3. Fares & Payments
- Fares are calculated based on distance, vehicle type, and applicable tariffs as published on our Tariff page.
- Applicable tolls, parking charges, state permit fees, and waiting charges (if any) are to be borne by the passenger and will be added to the final fare.
- Night charges and holiday surcharges may apply as per our tariff schedule.
- We accept payment in cash as well as via digital payment methods including UPI, PhonePe, and bank transfer.
- The fare quoted at the time of booking is an estimate. The final fare is payable at the end of the trip as shown on the meter or as agreed upon at the time of booking.
- For outstation trips, an advance payment may be required at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Passengers may cancel a booking by calling us at 0416 2224455 or 0416 2211122.
- Cancellations made with sufficient advance notice (at least 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up time for local trips, and at least 12 hours for outstation trips) will incur no cancellation charge.
- Late cancellations or no-shows after the driver has been dispatched may attract a cancellation fee to cover the driver's travel and waiting time.
- Maya Call Taxi reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances (vehicle breakdown, unsafe road conditions, force majeure events, etc.). In such cases, we will notify the passenger as promptly as possible and no charge will be levied.
- Advance payments for cancelled trips will be refunded within 5–7 working days through the original payment method.
5. Waiting & Delays
- A complimentary waiting time of 10 minutes is provided at the pick-up point. Waiting charges will apply beyond this period.
- For airport and railway station pick-ups, the complimentary waiting time is 30 minutes from the scheduled arrival of the flight or train.
- Maya Call Taxi is not liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, road closures, adverse weather, or other factors beyond our control.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
As a passenger of Maya Call Taxi, you agree to:
- Be ready at the agreed pick-up location at the scheduled time.
- Treat the driver and vehicle with respect. Verbal or physical abuse towards the driver will result in immediate termination of the trip without a refund.
- Wear a seatbelt at all times as required by law.
- Not consume alcohol, smoke, or use tobacco products inside the vehicle.
- Not carry any illegal, hazardous, flammable, or prohibited substances or items in the vehicle.
- Ensure that the number of passengers does not exceed the seating capacity of the booked vehicle.
- Take responsibility for all personal belongings. Maya Call Taxi is not liable for items lost or forgotten in the vehicle, though we will make reasonable efforts to return found items.
7. Vehicle & Service Standards
- Maya Call Taxi will make every reasonable effort to provide a clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy vehicle for all trips.
- The vehicle type assigned may differ from the one booked if an equivalent or superior alternative is provided due to unforeseen circumstances.
- All our drivers are licensed, verified, and trained to provide courteous and professional service.
- Maya Call Taxi does not guarantee a specific driver for any booking.
8. Outstation Trips & Packages
- For outstation bookings, the fare includes driver allowance, fuel, and vehicle charges as per the agreed package or tariff.
- Any additional kilometres or hours beyond the agreed package limits will be charged at the applicable per-km or per-hour rate.
- For multi-day trips, driver accommodation and meal expenses are the responsibility of the passenger unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Route changes or additional stops during an outstation trip may result in additional charges.
9. Limitation of Liability
Maya Call Taxi shall not be held liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our services.
- Loss or damage to passengers' personal property during the trip.
- Delays, missed flights, trains, or other connections caused by traffic, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Any injury, loss, or damage arising from the passenger's own negligence or failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Our total liability to any passenger for any claim shall not exceed the fare paid for the particular trip in question.
10. Insurance
All Maya Call Taxi vehicles carry valid commercial vehicle insurance as required under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Passengers are covered under the passenger liability clause of our insurance policy during the trip. We strongly recommend that passengers carry their own travel insurance for personal valuables and additional cover.

12. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
14. Amendments
Maya Call Taxi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
