At Maya Call Taxi, we understand that plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains your options when you need to cancel a booking and how refunds are processed. We aim to be fair, transparent, and prompt in all refund matters.
1. How to Cancel a Booking
You may cancel your Maya Call Taxi booking through any of the following channels:

Please have your booking details (name, phone number, pick-up time, and destination) ready when you contact us. Cancellations are effective only once confirmed by our team.

3. Airport & Railway Station Pickups
- For airport and railway station pick-ups, a complimentary waiting time of 30 minutes from the flight or train's scheduled arrival is provided at no extra charge.
- If the passenger does not arrive or contact us within 30 minutes of the scheduled arrival and has not informed us of a delay, the booking may be treated as a no-show and any advance paid will be forfeited.
- In cases of genuine flight or train delays supported by evidence, we will make every effort to accommodate the passenger without additional charges.
4. Cancellation by Maya Call Taxi
In rare situations, Maya Call Taxi may need to cancel a confirmed booking due to:
- Vehicle breakdown or mechanical failure
- Driver unavailability due to emergency
- Severe weather conditions or natural calamity
- Road closures, government restrictions, or force majeure events
In all such cases:
- We will notify you as soon as possible by phone or WhatsApp.
- We will make every effort to arrange an alternative vehicle or suggest the next available slot.
- If no alternative is acceptable, a full refund of any advance paid will be processed with no deduction.
5. Refund Process
Eligibility
A refund is applicable when:
- An advance payment was made and the booking is cancelled within the eligible refund window.
- Maya Call Taxi cancels the booking for any reason.
- An overcharge or duplicate payment has been made in error.
Refund Methods
Refunds will be credited back through the same payment method used at the time of booking:
- UPI / PhonePe / Bank Transfer: Refunded directly to the source account.
- Cash payments: Refunded in cash at our office or via bank transfer as arranged with our team.
Refund Timeline
- Refunds are typically processed within 5 to 7 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
- In case of bank or payment gateway processing delays, it may take up to 10 working days for the amount to reflect in your account.
- You will receive a confirmation from us once the refund has been initiated.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
No refund will be issued in the following circumstances:
- Passenger is a no-show at the agreed pick-up point without prior notice.
- Trip is cancelled by the passenger after the journey has commenced.
- Booking was cancelled due to the passenger providing incorrect pick-up or drop-off details.
- Cancellation is made by the passenger in violation of these terms after the applicable cancellation-free window has passed, without any extenuating circumstances.
7. Modifications to Booking
- Changes to pick-up time, location, or destination can be requested by calling us at 0416 2224455 and are subject to availability.
- If a modification results in a lower fare than what was paid in advance, the difference will be refunded within 5–7 working days.
- If a modification results in a higher fare, the additional amount is payable at the time of the trip or as agreed with our team.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a cancellation charge has been applied incorrectly, or if you have not received your refund within the stated timeline, please contact us immediately:
